A Fast and Easy Way to Make Money Online
Before I start, here are a few quick facts about this money making method:
Work involved = Very little
Time it takes = Not much
Experience needed = Almost none
Cost to get started = Minimal
This is no secret or anything like that; there are plenty of internet marketers and other people doing it. But I figured I would post it here for those of you who don’t know about it.
It is certainly one of the quickest and easiest ways to make money online that I have ever found. And anyone can do it as long as you have a little money to start with and a basic knowledge of domains and websites.
Ok, let’s get to it…
To start you’ll need to buy at least one domain with a minimum of PR2 but the higher the PR, the better. You can find lots of cheap domains for sale that will work perfectly for this by browsing through the Digitalpoint forums domain sales section.
It’s not very difficult to find PR3 domains for less than $50 and sometimes you’ll even find PR4 domains for around that price. In fact, just today I bought a valid PR3 domain that is over three years old for only $39 and it had existing content with it! And another for only $36 that is highly brandable and will be super easy to sell links on.
Once you have the domain all you have to do is write up a little content for it to put up as a website. You can even use PLR content or just find a few articles in a directory and rewrite them to be completely original. It’s easiest if you just put all the content up as one long home page and have a single page site, but you can also start a blog or multiple page site on the domain if you want. If you buy a generic domain your content can be about pretty much anything you want. If the domain already has an implied niche then just put up content about that. It doesn’t really matter too much because you can usually work in content related to almost anything that someone wants to buy a link for, and there are plenty of people wanting links for all sorts of different niches.
Now, for the part that you will actually make money from…
You will be selling links on this new “website” you just built. This is pretty easy to do because there are a TON of people out there looking for links to their sites. There are also plenty of places where you can advertise that you are selling links. Three of the most popular are the link sales section of the digitalpoint forum, the advertising space for sale section of the sitepoint marketplace, and the warrior links section of the warrior forum.
Make sure you take a look at several ads on each of the sites to get an idea of the protocol for posting them before you put yours up. They are all pretty easy and basically the same on each site but you want to make sure you are doing it right. I would tell you how in this post but it’s already long enough and it will probably be easier for you to see for yourself at each individual marketplace anyway.
Also, in case you are wondering, I don’t recommend using websites you already have with good PageRank for this unless you don’t really care about them or don’t want them anymore. The reason is mainly because they could be penalized for selling links on them. Plus you don’t want a bunch of random links on your precious sites.
Pretty much all you need to do this is a cheap hosting service that allows unlimited domains on one account. I recommend Hostgator if you don’t already have a host.
WARNING: Be careful when buying domains because some people will fake the PR, which is very easy to do, so you have to make sure the PR is valid before buying the domain. Here are some ways to check it out…
* One good way to check if it’s valid or not is to use the Google “info” search. Just type info:thedomainname.com into Google to check it. If the site you are checking comes up in the results the PR is probably valid. However, if a different site comes up then it’s almost certainly fake PR being redirected from that site, so don’t buy it!
* Another simple way is to check how many backlinks the site has using Yahoo site explorer. Just type link:thedomainname.com into Yahoo and see how many inlinks it has. If it has none (or very few) then it shouldn’t have a high pagerank. This isn’t the best way to check though because a site can have a PR3 or even higher without a lot of backlinks if the ones it does have are strong.
* You can also use a site like http://checkpagerank.net to check it for you. I recommend doing all of these before purchasing just to be sure.
You might wonder why you shouldn’t just develop the domains you buy into money making websites since they already have a jumpstart with existing PR and backlinks, instead of selling links? There’s nothing wrong with doing that and it’s certainly an option. I actually do both depending on the domain and my intentions for buying it from the beginning. But if you want to quickly and easily make money from the domain then links sales are most likely your best option.
Let’s say you buy a domain for $50 and it takes you two hours to do all the stuff written above, and I doubt it will even take you that long. If you sell 10 links on the site for $25 each, you will make $200 profit after you subtract the cost of the domain. Do this with 100 domains and you just make yourself a cool $20,000 for very little work or time invested.
That’s basically all there is to it. Now get out there and make some money!
Why You Won’t Become a Successful Internet Marketer
If you are a typical internet marketing newbie you started out something like this…
You heard that there are people called “internet marketers” earning fortunes online. You thought that sounded like a great way to earn a living so you decided that you were going to become one of these mysterious internet marketers so you could make money online too. So, you bought a few ebooks on how to do this, found some MMO blogs to read, and started trying to learn every internet marketing strategy you could find.
Then, you built a blog and started implementing some of your newly learned internet marketing knowledge to drive some traffic to it.
Soon after you made your first commission or whatever and earned a little money… That’s if you are one of the lucky ones. Fortunately, you haven’t given up yet because you are reading this right now but most aspiring internet marketers quit as soon as they realize they actually have to work to make money online and aren’t going to get rich in a month or two.
Most beginning internet marketers never really even get started before they decide to quit. Only about 20% percent ever make even a little money and of those remaining only about another 20% of them ever make any real money. And, it’s the very rare internet marketer who becomes truly wealthy from his online business.

You can make money online and have the lifestyle you want to live but you can’t expect to do it right away.
After a lot of learning, implementing, long hours, blood, sweat, and tears… You can become financially independent as an internet marketer.
Thomas Edison said that most people stop just short of success.
In the case of internet marketing, he was wrong! Most people never even get off the proverbial couch. Most folks never enter the ring. Most people never take action. You can’t make money if you don’t do something to earn it.
So, step one of building a successful internet marketing business is… Take Action!
Step two… Do something each day to grow your business. Even if whatever you’re doing isn’t working after you’ve given it real shot, then change to something else.
Success is the result of hard work, whether it’s online success or offline. The internet marketers you hear about who are making millions are the ones who woke up two hours early to work on their websites before going to their ten hour a day job, then came home and worked on their online businesses until bed time. They did this over and over again until they made enough money to quit their day jobs. Then, they did it all day every day until they were rich!
It’s all about hard Work! Got it?
If you can commit yourself to truly making your internet marketing business succeed, the sky’s the limit for you. No one can stop you. Your competitors can’t stop you. The government can’t stop you. Two Tips for Creating Profitable Websites
Most internet marketers assume that driving traffic to a website is all that it takes to make money online. At least they think that at first until they realize they aren’t making much money, if any at all, and soon figure out that there is a LOT more to internet marketing than just getting traffic to a website.
Getting traffic is very important, but that’s only one part of the internet marketing equation. It’s like you’re playing football, and your team just got a first down. That’s a good start, but there’s still a long way to go before you get a touchdown, or in your case to get money in your bank account.
After people come to your site, they have to stay there long enough to actually take some sort of action that leads to you making money, either directly or indirectly. You want them to click on your ads, buy something, or give you their email address. Visitors who read some information on your site then leave without taking any action aren’t going to make you any money.
You shouldn’t depend on people bookmarking your site on their browser either because hardly anyone does that anymore. Plenty of people participate in social bookmarking, but that’s not really to remember a site they liked, it’s more to share the site with others.
Basically what I am saying is you really want your visitor to either give you their email address or buy something through your affiliate link. If they don’t do that then you have probably lost them forever because even if they leave with the feeling that your site has content they really liked and that they intent to come back, they most likely never will. There’s just too many sites and information being thrown at them for them to remember yours.
So, here are a couple tips that will help you to either make more sales or get more of your visitors email addresses…
Tip 1: Use an opt-in email form with a free gift to entice them
Decide what kind of information your market really wants. If you’re in weight loss, then your market probably wants cutting edge information about losing weight. If you promote online business information, then it should be about how to make money online. You can find all of this information for free online. You don’t have to be an expert to do this. All you need to do is to write a five to seven page report that outlines a few tips that your market wants to know. Then you put an opt-in email form on your website for them to put in their email address in order to get your report for free.
Tip 2: Banners Don’t Work
Of course, as an internet marketer, you want to make money from your website. And one action you want your visitor to take is to buy something, either your product or an affiliate product. I’m sure you have seen a lot of websites with banner advertisements on them so you might be considering putting them on yours. However, banners don’t work very well at all. Text links work a lot better. Whether you’re sending your buyer to an affiliate offer or to your own offer, text links have been proven, time and time again, to be much more effective than banners.
If you follow just these two internet marketing tips, you can exponentially increase how much money you make from your website! What’s even better is you’ll be collecting email addresses from people that you can sell to over and over again!
Free Internet Marketing Tips – Do They REALLY Exist?
Free internet marketing tips are not very hard to find because everyone from the top internet marketing gurus all the way down to wannabe internet marketer newbies are just itching to show the world everything they know about internet marketing even though most of the time they don’t know squat.
Have you ever sat back and asked yourself why it is that all these internet marketers are trying to teach you how to make money online, or at least pretending to try?
If you don’t already know the answer to that question I will tell you right now. It’s because they are making money (or at least trying to make money) from people like you who read their blogs, websites, forum posts, articles, etc… They push their products or affiliate products, they sell advertising, they serve up Adsense or other contextual advertising, and a bunch of other ways they use to make money from you.
There are very few internet marketers who give out free internet marketing information without being motivated by money in one way or another. In fact, I doubt there are any! That’s just the nature of the beast. When you think about it there’s no reason for anyone to waste their time giving out free internet marketing tips to help you make money online if they aren’t ever going to get anything in return. Even teachers get paid a salary. They don’t just teach because it makes them feel good.
So before you go buying products and clicking links recommended by your favorite internet marketers just remember that they probably aren’t recommending it just for the sake of helping you make money, there’s a good chance they are getting something out of it.
I’m not saying this is a bad thing. If they are going to take the time to give out free internet marketing information and make money online tips then they should be rewarded for their efforts. I am only trying to make sure you aren’t spending all your money on things just because your favorite internet marketer keeps recommending something new every week.
You can get all the internet marketing information and resources you need to make money online for free or very cheap. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on all the new products that come out all the time.
